Friday Night, August 27th, it's our "Evening of Ballroom Dance" with Pete Jacob's Cafe Society Club Band (formerly: Pete's Ballroom Magic Band).  They'll play a great variety of lovely ballroom tunes from 8 to 11:00pm.  $10 admission includes a complimentary lesson in Ballroom 2-Step. 

Saturday Night, in their debut on our PBDA stage, it's The Upbeat Swing Orchestra!  They'll play from 8-11:30pm, with a beginning Swing lesson from 7:30-8pm.  $15 admission. 

Note that there will also be a DIPS AND TRICKS CLASS (one day only) This Saturday from 2:30-3:30pm.  $15.  Learn eye-catching, flashy, intermed. level moves for ANY style of Swing. 

This Saturday Night, August 21st,  the entire Ladd McIntosh Swing Orchestra will fill our stage at PBDA!  Swing lesson from 7:30-8pm, and the band plays from 8-11:30pm.  $15 admission.  Snacks, refreshments, door prizes...fun!

We're just starting our 2nd week of classes, and the 2nd meeting of any class is still okay to join!  Then...it's a HAWAIIAN DANCE on Saturday Night (Aug. 14th), with Flat Top Tom and his Jumpcats.  Pull out your Hawaiian attire, and join us!  $15 admission includes the Swing lesson, 7:30-8PM and the band plays from 8-11:30PM, free snacks and refreshments and door prizes.

New classes start this week at PBDA!  Check our website for all details, and don't miss our "Other Workshops" page for one-day-only classes and 'short-series' classes.  To register for any class, just 'show up' and we'll sign you in right there at the door!  Come join us on Saturday night, AUGUST 7th, when we welcome the BARREL HOUSE BOYS swing band to our stage (for their first time at PBDA).  It should be a FUN night! 

Our new SUMMER SERIES of classes begins on July 31st...with lots of fun classes to choose from.  We mix things around a bit in the summer.  Notice, for example, that West Coast Swing will be offered on Wednesday Nights, and Ballroom Classes will be held on Thursday Nights.

The always excellent Eric Ekstrand Ensemble will play for our Swing Dance on Saturday Night--there's a Swing lesson from 7:30-8PM, and the band plays from 8-11:30PM.  $15 admission always includes the lesson, as well as complimentary snacks and refreshments and door prizes!
